Playing Catch Up from Xanga, Originally dated April 22, 2010

Our Third Day in New York.

After Staying up til 3am goofing off we woke up nice and early (8am) to start a new Day. Breakfast at Carve...then Nikki and I ditched the boys asap to play in Chinatown together and get some sweet deals. I found a knock off TokiDoki Pirata Print Bag for $20 that i love. We had a Leasurely lunch at Vincents in Little Italy. We were on the line of Chinatown/Little Italy and eating outside so i could smell my pizza and weird Chinatown odors at the same time. LoL

While we were there the boys went to more Apple Stores... and the Natural History Museum. Oh and they saw James Spader coming out of the Barrymore Theater which we could see out our hotel window.

Met back up with the boys for a behind the scenes tour of 30 Rock with Our travelmates Brother who was a Page (Think Jack McBrayer's charactor on 30 rock) And now works for MADMONEY... but still has connections to just walk us all over the building. We saw the set of Dr. Oz (Its beautiful) Back to Jimmy Fallon and Stood on the floor among the sets we saw the night before of SNL.

Then Back to the hotel to shower and get dressed up for a fancy schmancy dinner. We had planned and made reservations the day before at Ninja New York.

If we were late or canceled my credit card would have been charged $60. So we were early and excited. It was kinda cool... outside of the 45 minute wait, begging for a table, no drinks til late, being out of the food we wanted, $327 bill for 6 people to eat, me accidently stabbing my friend in the eye with a REAL sword the waitress let me hold, and when we complained to management all they did was give us 6 watered down shots...oh and we were there for 3 hours. UGH. WHY we didnt just walk out, i have no clue. It was terrible.

We capped the night off at our Hotels Bar called the Rum House. It was really a cute little place you could settle into a leather chair and people watch with a big mug of beer. Im noticing a trend here...
